Frequently Asked Questions

What can I do if I cannot attend all 3 lessons?
After each class, you will have 2 weeks to view the recordings of the class you were unable to attend.
Why is the availability of each class limited to 7 spots?
As the expected level of interaction between teacher and student is very high, it is necessary for the class to be closed and limited in number.
Who is Nicola Mazzanti and what skills does he have?
Piccolo soloist of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino from 1988 to 2020, his name is linked to numerous performance premieres and records: several composers have written pieces or concerts for piccolo for him. Piccolo professor at the Hochschule of Lucerne in Switzerland, at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland in Lugano, at the “Verdi” Conservatory in Milan and at the “Torrefranca” Conservatory in Vibo Valentia, during his career as a teacher he has developed an original teaching methodology appreciated worldwide. He is the Artistic Director and co-founder of the International Piccolo Festival and the International Piccolo Flute Academy.
What are the technological requirements necessary to be able to participate?
A stable internet line and a webcam with microphone are sufficient. Should you miss some portions of the lesson due to momentary interruptions of the connection, you will still be able to review the recording for the following two weeks.
What language will the Masterclass be taught in?
English. The minimum level required is elementary, with a basic knowledge of musical terms.
What if one or more lessons were to be cancelled?
We will refund any amount you have already paid corresponding to the lessons that do not take place. For example: if out of three lessons one is cancelled, we will refund you a third of the amount you paid for the Masterclass.
If we are able to make up for a cancelled lesson on a date other than the one previously communicated, but you are not available for that date, we will still refund you as described above.
Is there a different price for those who are also registered with IPFA Subscription?
Yes. For those registered with the IPFA subscription (and also for those who have been but today do not have an active subscription), the price of the PARTICIPANT Pass is 99.90 euros for annual subscribers and 119,90 euros for monthly subscribers, instead of 149.90 euros.
