“Being fortunate to have been able to follow one’s passion, to go through life as a performing musician is a true gift. It has been wonderful being part of the Philharmonia Zurich Opera Orchestra for many years. One experiences a diversified and colorful world; a unification of theater and music. I believe that it has influenced and formed my role as a musician, opening my eyes to the possibilities we have to develop as musicians and humans. A vital part of this role is to share that which we have learned through our experiences with the younger generation. Inspiring and assisting young musicians down their path of development is perhaps the most satisfying and beautiful aspect of our profession; sharing with them, the passion which has accompanied us throughout the years.”
